To commemorate World Aids Day and raise greater awareness about HIV/AIDS, the Health Promotion Board commissioned a special edition of FL.ag magazine (Issue 17). Ampulets was asked to create an artwork for FL.ag on what AIDS means today.
We wanted the design to communicate a simple message of condom use to help prevent further spread of the virus. For us, the clearest way to nail the message was to spell it out with rubber? We used a bag of rubber bands, a raw plywood board, a box of nails and some determined hammering to create the artwork.
