Change is an ambivalent thing. It brings progress, but it can often leave people and whatever else is precious behind. We often wonder how the elderly living around us adapt to the technologies and urban lifestyles that have radically changed how the world communicates and how relationships are forged. When we made this illustration of an older man advertising for love, we imagined how an older person has adapted to the technological and lifestyle changes in his life. We also wanted to celebrate the things that will never change with time – Elvis, and love.
This illustration was chosen for Asia Pacific Breweries' Tiger Translate Project in 2009 and toured 70 cities where Tiger Beer can be found.
